Cabinet, IDF Clash Over Role in Delivering Aid to Gaza Amid Hamas Control

A significant dispute has arisen within Israel’s leadership regarding the IDF’s strategy for delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza. Prime Minister Netanyahu and several ministers called for adjustments to the army’s aid policy during a brief discussion on Sunday, as reported by Amir Ettinger and Yuval Segev on Telegram Tuesday.

In response, IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir maintained that the legal advice from the IDF’s chief prosecutor barred the proposed changes, citing limitations imposed by international law.
